Meet Tedi Zeng, L.Ac, MSOM, MBBS

Zixun “Tedi” Zeng is a medical doctor from China who now practices as a board-certified clinical acupuncturist and traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) herbalist in the U.S. Tedi earned her M.B.B.S degree (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) from the Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine, one of the top 3 integrative medicine programs in mainland China. During her years in medical school, she had her own medical research program sponsored by the government of Guangdong Province. Tedi participated in an intensive internship in the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine. The program focused on Integrative Gynecologic Endocrinology, followed by a one-and-a-half-year program of lab research work in Integrative Cardiology.

With her background in both eastern and western medicine, she chose to help patients by focusing on natural methods and vitality instead of drugs and surgery. She decided she wanted to work more intimately with people in lieu of a less personal hospital environment. In 2015, Tedi moved to the U.S. to explore a focus on acupuncture and traditional Chinese herbalist methods as a valuable compliment to conventional medicine. In the U.S., Tedi obtained a Master of Science degree from the Florida College of Integrative Medicine. She became a Board Certified clinical acupuncturist by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Currently, she is putting her education to work in the community by helping people get better, using all of her holistically focused training and techniques.
